Shore Partnership Highlights – September 2026
September brings a change of pace in Cornwall as the summer crowds begin to disappear, but there’s been no slowing down at Shore Partnership. We brought an excellent selection of property to market this month, from contemporary, energy-efficient homes to Victorian townhouses, waterside village properties and a rare building plot overlooking the Truro River. We also completed very different sales, including a much-loved Helford Passage home changing hands for the first time in 30 years. Read on for our September highlights.
Property for sale in Cornwall in September
In Stithians, we listed Kevrin-Va, an impressive contemporary home extending to more than 3,200 sq ft. Designed and finished to an exceptional standard, the property combines expansive open-plan living with a bespoke kitchen, wraparound glass-balustraded balcony, luxurious principal bedroom suite and self-contained apartment. Its position also provides easy access to Falmouth, Truro and both the north and south Cornish coasts.
On the north coast, we listed a contemporary townhouse in Perranporth. Completed in 2021 and forming part of an exclusive gated development of just five homes, the property lies within level walking distance of the village centre and beach. Versatile accommodation is complemented by two private balconies, a useful store and allocated parking for two cars.
In Falmouth, we listed 4 Clare Terrace, a beautiful period townhouse with views across the harbour towards Flushing, the Carrick Roads and surrounding countryside. Imaginatively remodelled and full of personality, the property combines generous accommodation with a striking contemporary kitchen and an exceptional principal bedroom suite, all within easy reach of the town centre, waterfront and beaches.
Also in Falmouth, we listed an energy-efficient detached home built by Verto Homes in 2021. Its A-rated Net Zero specification includes solar panels, triple glazing and air-source underfloor heating, while light-filled living spaces open directly onto a generous terrace. Three bedrooms, two bath/shower rooms, an enclosed level garden with study pod, garage and driveway complete the accommodation, with Swanpool Beach and the coast path close by.
Overlooking Falmouth Bay, we listed an elegant two-bedroom apartment at Gyllyngdune Manor. Occupying the top floor and positioned between Castle Beach and Gyllyngvase Beach, the property enjoys magnificent sea views from its light-filled accommodation and broad private balcony. Falmouth’s seafront, Pendennis headland and town centre are all within easy walking distance.
In Malpas, near Truro, The Old Quarry presents an unusual opportunity to create a contemporary home overlooking the Truro River. The wooded site benefits from Planning in Principle for a single dwelling and has its own private access in addition to a shared entrance. Malpas village, the marina and local pub are all just a short walk away.
In west Cornwall, we listed Folneth in the heart of Marazion. This substantial late-Victorian home sits moments from the beach and enjoys wonderful views across Mount’s Bay towards St Michael’s Mount. With five double bedrooms, four reception rooms, level gardens, ample parking and a detached garage, this is a generously proportioned coastal home in a very special location.
Luxury Cornish property sold in September
Over in Helford Passage, we completed a particularly significant sale on Bar Road. Treloe, one of the original 1930s homes on this highly regarded address, came to market for the first time in 30 years, with its 92-year-old owner entrusting Shore Partnership with the sale of her much-loved family home. With river and sea views, deep gardens and a wonderful position above the Helford, it was a privilege to handle the sale and help begin the next chapter in the property’s history.
Near Falmouth, we completed the sale of Treverva Farm, a highly versatile country property occupying 11.8 acres near the Helford River. The four-bedroom farmhouse is accompanied by equestrian facilities and converted stone barns providing holiday or annexe accommodation and an established income stream.
Finally, in Mawnan Smith, we completed the sale of Tregelly on Carlidnack Lane. Enjoying a peaceful, traffic-free position within walking distance of the village, the property combines privacy with excellent access to Mawnan Smith and the Helford River beyond. We were very pleased to bring the sale to a successful conclusion and wish its new owners every happiness there.
