May highlights
The gardens are looking their best, the days are getting longer and Cornwall is beginning to gear up for high summer. We’ve been hard at work bringing a fantastic variety of property to market and completing the sale of some excellent homes across the county. In May we listed waterside retreats, a unique and exciting renovation project (a former village school), a fisherman’s cottage and a number of spacious family homes perfectly placed for life in Cornwall.

In Truro, we listed Polwithan on Falmouth Road. Located close to Truro High School and the city centre, this impressive Victorian townhouse combines extensive modern living space with the character and detailing of the original period home. Beautifully renovated throughout, the accommodation flows seamlessly onto a level south-facing terrace and garden, while up to six bedrooms and generous reception spaces provide exceptional flexibility for family life.
Near Feock, we listed Little Piper, a thoughtfully designed contemporary home tucked away in a sheltered valley close to Penpol Creek. Extending to almost two acres, the property sits within private park-like grounds of sweeping lawns, mature trees and carefully planned planting. Positioned between Truro and Falmouth, this striking modern home offers light-filled accommodation and a strong connection to its surroundings.
In Perranporth, 5 Ocean Walk offers contemporary coastal living within an exclusive gated development of just five homes. Completed in 2021 and situated within easy walking distance of both the village and beach, the property provides flexible accommodation together with a garage and spacious roof terrace, creating a superb base from which to enjoy life on the north Cornish coast.
We also listed Number 54, Boscawen Woods in Truro. Set within a modern development and benefiting from the remainder of its 10-year warranty, this stylish home offers flexible accommodation across three floors, far-reaching views from the upper levels and one of the largest west-facing gardens within the development.
On the Roseland Peninsula, we listed The Old School in Tregony, a remarkable Grade II Listed former Victorian village school now offering an exciting renovation opportunity. Occupying a plot of more than a third of an acre in the centre of the village, the property retains an abundance of original character including granite mullions, vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers and large windows. With a substantial garden, double garage and extensive parking, it offers enormous potential for the next owners.
In Portloe, we listed a beautifully remodelled fisherman’s cottage positioned just above the harbour in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque fishing villages. Combining traditional Cornish character with contemporary styling, the property provides elegant open-plan living, three bedrooms and a generous garden opening directly onto the South West Coast Path.

Near Penryn, we were delighted to complete the sale of Number 5 Highcross Drive, a striking contemporary home within an exclusive collection of just five detached properties. Completed in 2025 and built to an exceptional standard, the house combines high-quality design with impressive energy efficiency and occupies the largest plot within this peaceful development on the edge of Penryn and Enys.
In Feock, we exchanged contracts on a beautifully refurbished detached bungalow in Dozmere Close. Set within generous gardens and offering up to four bedrooms, two bath/shower rooms, an attached gym/studio and two driveways, the property attracted strong interest in one of south Cornwall’s most sought-after waterside villages.
We were also pleased to agree the sale of The Upper Deck in Penpol, a distinctive five-bedroom home positioned within a quiet no-through road near Penpol Creek. Thoughtfully remodelled and enjoying elevated views across Penpol and Restronguet Creeks towards the Mylor countryside, this impressive family home offers a wonderful balance of space, privacy and waterside outlook.
