“Where I Live Matters” – celebrate where we live
This is a competition created by a photographer, for photographers. The “Where I Live Matters” celebration competition was devised with Shore Partnership by Falmouth-based photographer and Sony Alpha Creator Hugh Hastings through his photography-for-all service photoconnect.
It’s a wonderful thing to love where you live, and many people in Cornwall are fortunate enough to wake up each day in a wonderful location that nurtures and rewards, excites and soothes in equal measure.
This competition poses the challenge to photographers in the southwest to capture something of the spirit of the places where we live. Your passion might best be expressed through landscape, sea views, people, portraiture, lifestyle – the great thing about photography is we each have our own unique vision and above all else, this competition is a celebration of all that we love about where we live.
The best entries will be shown on whereilivematters.com – and some also on social media – for the duration of the competition – so at least until December 31st 2020. In 2021 we aim to celebrate further with a public exhibition of images, the details of which will be announced nearer the time.
Spot prizes will one awarded each month from December 2019 onwards and a grand winner will be announced in December 2020 with the MAIN PRIZE OF £1000 WORTH OF SONY PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT.
ENTER THIS COMPETITION by sending your images (one per email please) along with your name and subject location to the following email address: whereilivematters@shorepartnership.com
