September highlights

Rain or shine, we’re grateful as always to live and work in this beautiful county, and we were delighted to handle the sale of some really fantastic Cornish property this month. We were honoured to work with a wonderful couple fifteen years on from the first sale we handled for them – it’s always a pleasure to see clients return, and lovely to hear about the happy years they’ve spent in their home.

Homes for sale in Cornwall in September

We listed The Pines in Truro, a Cornelius-designed home set in mature gardens of around half an acre. With four bedrooms, a study and expansive living spaces, this property enjoys a peaceful setting between the city and Malpas, with views towards Boscawen Park and easy access to riverside walks and sailing waters.

Near Perranwell Station, Jenkins House offers over 2,300 sq ft of family accommodation, thoughtfully extended and set within 1.5 acres of level gardens. The property’s spacious accommodation includes five bedrooms, three reception rooms and outbuildings, as well as a double garage, games room and summerhouse. Space and flexibility in a wonderful rural location surrounded by rolling countryside, just a mile from the village centre.

In Truro, we were delighted to complete the sale of 7 Tremorvah Barton – the first change of ownership in over 30 years. Remodelled and extended to a high standard, this impressive home offers five bedrooms, flexible modern interiors and private mature gardens, all within the sought-after Penair and Archbishop Benson school catchments.

In Perranwell, we oversaw the successful sale of Greenwith Wood Farm, a characterful Victorian farmhouse at the end of a quiet lane. Set within 2.5 acres including gardens, paddock and woodland on the banks of the Carnon River, this is a highly private rural retreat. This was one of those sales that drew on every element of our experience and teamwork, with buyers, seller and solicitors all working together to make it happen.

We also completed the sale of a distinguished three-storey townhouse on Dunstanville Terrace in Falmouth. With panoramic harbour views, three double bedrooms, elegant period features and a sunny terraced garden, it’s no surprise this property went from launch to exchange in record time.

In Penpol, Devoran, we discreetly handled the off-market sale of Tregarthen, an architect-designed single-storey home that blends innovative design with sustainability and tranquility. Surrounded by landscaped gardens and enjoying beautiful downriver views, this is a best-in-class residence in one of Cornwall’s most desirable creekside villages.
