November highlights

November brought the long-awaited budget, and with it a marked increase in agreed sales once the uncertainty had lifted. We also listed some fantastic Cornish property this month, from cosy thatched cottages to traditional farmhouses and creekside properties with panoramic views. We also received some wonderful feedback from a happy client, which you can find at the end of these highlights.

Cornish homes for sale in November

Sundowner in Penpol is a beautifully finished single-storey home set in an elevated spot with wonderful outlooks over Penpol and Restronguet Creek. The property features two well-sized double bedrooms and a collection of bright, welcoming living areas designed to make the most of its peaceful setting. With panoramic views reaching across to the Mylor peninsula and a calm, understated coastal feel throughout, Sundowner offers an inviting retreat within easy reach of both Falmouth and Truro.

In Feock, we listed The Nook, a captivating Grade II Listed thatched cottage set right in the centre of the village. Beautifully restored with great care, the property showcases plenty of period character paired with thoughtfully crafted interiors. Offering up to four bedrooms, a cosy snug, generous living/dining space, a garage with gated parking and a southwest-facing garden, it sits just a short stroll from the calm waters of the Carrick Roads. A rare opportunity to own a historic home in one of south Cornwall’s most desirable locations.

We also listed Meudon Farm, a traditional semi-detached farmhouse positioned between Maenporth and Mawnan Smith – two of south Cornwall’s most sought-after coastal communities. Coming to the market for the first time in 75 years, this rarely available property requires full renovation, offering buyers the chance to reinstate and reimagine a characterful home in an exceptional setting. With the coast, countryside and some of the area’s most beautiful walks close by, Meudon Farm presents a compelling opportunity to restore a piece of Cornish heritage.

Feedback on our Cornish property agency

We’re delighted to share some lovely feedback we received from a client recently. These words affirm everything we aim to do when we handle the sale of a home.

“Nothing seemed too trivial or too difficult for them, and even where there seemed to be an unsurmountable problem they were ready with suggested solutions. A great sense of humour as well as empathy made the issues melt away.

“I knew that selling my home after living there for more than 20 years was going to be challenging. Unfamiliarity with the new (to me) ways of the housing market as well as my uncertainty over where and what I wanted to buy conspired to make me feel very uncomfortable and more than a little nervous about dealing with the whole process on my own.

“Shore Partnership (Ben and Tim) together made sure that I never felt I was dealing with issues on my own. Both of them were with me every step of the way in both selling my home and buying a new one. Shore Partnership was recommended to me by a friend and I could not have been more delighted with how the professional relationship with both of them developed. For all sorts of reasons, the sale and purchase took much longer than anyone could have reasonably anticipated but they took all the hassles in their stride and kept me serene throughout.

“I am pleased that I can now consider Ben and Tim as my friends and feel sure that they treat all their clients with the same professional care and attention as they gave me.”
