April highlights
April brought plenty of sunshine and lots to keep the Shore Partnership team busy. We were delighted to exchange contracts on some really excellent Cornish property, including a tricky sale that drew on all of our resources. A great result for both buyers and sellers, and an opportunity for us to do what we do best: making the sale process as smooth as possible for all involved, with the help of our fantastic local partners.
Homes for sale in Cornwall
In Point (Devoran), we were very excited to soft-launch Tregarthan, a truly unique architect-designed house available for the first time since construction in 2007. Discretely positioned with excellent views along the river, this is a real find. We were also able to secure a buyer prior to open marketing thanks to our social media.
Newly listed in Feock, we have a well-maintained five-bedroom bungalow on a very generous, level site with plenty of mature trees offering seclusion and privacy. This Cornish home is in a great location, just moments away from Falmouth’s excellent sailing waters, and a brilliant opportunity for refurbishment or redevelopment.
Luxury Cornish property sold in April
In Feock, we saw the outstanding Good Hope into the hands of the proud new owners, who are looking forward to enjoying their retirement within one of the UK’s most highly sought-after destinations. This light, spacious and extended family home is set within mature private gardens of around one acre, with Loe Beach and Feock Church close at hand and far-reaching water views downriver.
Over in Carbis Bay, west Cornwall, we were delighted to complete the sale of an impressive top floor penthouse apartment within The Sands, a luxury gated development – perfectly positioned for breathtaking coastal views. The spacious, full-width living room looks out across the open ocean and to St Ives, and there’s a sea facing balcony that’s perfect for soaking up the sun. High quality, low maintenance accommodation in one of Cornwall’s most desirable locations.
We also exchanged contracts on a fantastic Victorian villa in Woodlane, Falmouth, after a long and complicated sale with plenty of hurdles to overcome along the chain. We’re grateful to our loyal clients, our trustworthy buyers, and our supportive and highly communicative solicitors at Charles French and Nalders, and we’re thrilled to see hand the keys to this beautiful home over to its happy new owners.
Another completed sale, also in Falmouth: Marlborough St Jude, part of the original estate of the renowned and celebrated Packet Ship Commander, John Bull, who had the adjacent Marlborough House built in 1810. A really special Cornish property with a fantastic history. PRIVATE SALE.
