2026: January highlights
After a month of stormy weather, we’re looking forward to spring! January started with lots of momentum at Shore Partnership, with a busy diary of viewings and valuations already underway, including a new instruction with views along Falmouth’s Dunstanville Terrace. We’ve got lots of fantastic Cornish property to choose from, so let’s get into January’s highlights.
Cornish property sold in January
Our first completed sales of the year were three newly built family homes at Fordh Kober in St Agnes. Located on the edge of this much-loved north coast village, the development has been thoughtfully created for permanent occupation rather than second homes or holiday use. Demand remains strong, with just one or two houses still available, priced between £500,000 and £600,000.
In Falmouth, we were delighted to agree a sale on a Dunstanville Terrace townhouse within just nine working days of instruction. Multiple viewings and a buyer secured without the need for online portals speaks volumes about both the strength of our buyer list and the continued appeal of period homes in the town. There is a strong demand for townhouses between £500,000 and £2,000,000 in Falmouth; we’d love to hear from anyone considering a move this year.
Property for sale in Cornwall in January
Near Truro, we listed Woodacre Cottage in Ladock. Set within a wooded valley, this charming and individual home offers up to five bedrooms, three reception rooms and nearly an acre of land, along with a large workshop and shed. A warm and spacious cottage with Cornwall’s coasts and Truro’s amenities within easy reach.
At Sea Road in Carlyon Bay, we listed a stylish penthouse apartment within Trenarren House, a landmark 2022-built development of just six luxury, energy-efficient homes. Enjoying sweeping south-facing sea views, the apartment includes three bedrooms, a generous balcony for outdoor dining and two parking spaces, all set within level grounds close to the coast path and golf club.
In west Cornwall, Blue Yonder at Praa Sands is a remodelled seaside villa positioned high above the beach, with uninterrupted views across the bay from its principal rooms, balcony and terraces. Designed with reverse-level living, the upper floor centres around an open-plan living space that fully embraces the coastal setting, making it an ideal Cornish retreat.
